Introduction

As a developer, I am always on the lookout for methods and resources that will help me manage my workload, increase productivity, and keep me organised and abreast of market developments. I am going to discuss several essential tools that I use on a daily basis.

1. LinkedIn Premium

LinkedIn helps you connect with more people, increase your network, and reachability and can help you grow a lot in your career. I post 3–4 LinkedIn posts in a week and as a result, I have got calls from different big MNCs without even applying to them. Google is one of them 😆

In terms of learning and growth, LinkedIn also provides LinkedIn learning where you not only learn but share your growth with your network as well.

It’s a must-have for people who are seeking better career opportunities or want to grow their network.

2. Cursor premium

Cursor Premium is a game-changer for any developer. Once you have it, you don’t want to return to your previous editor. It’s fast and reliable; in simple terms, I can say Cursor is the best way to code with AI.

It provides you with suggestions and auto-completion code, you can select multiple files and ask it to write the code. Its far better than any other code editor out there in terms of AI.

3. Medium

As a developer, you only write software but you can write about software too, which will not only boost your portfolio while it help you gain more visibility around your work within your network. One more plus point is you can earn while writing, on Medium.

Medium is a platform where people share their knowledge while writing and its a great tool to contribute to society.

Even if you don’t write, Medium can provide you a wealth of knowledge, and insights on different topics ranging from technology, programming, development and whatnot.

4. Notion

A must-have organisation tool with AI features. With Notion, you can do a lot of work from maintaining your tasks, and documentation to project management. I can create a workspace that suits my requirements and workflows.

5. CodePen Pro

CodePen Pro helps you to create different pens and share them with others. I can create private pens, use custom domains, and access advanced analytics for my front-end development. I use it to showcase my work, collaborate with others and maintain my projects.
